  • What suspension does my DF and DFX have?
    There is an adjustable double wishbone hydraulic damped sprung suspension at each of the 4 wheels of the vehicle This allows you to personalize your riding experience for different types of roads and conditions by adjusting the stiffness of the suspension struts. There’s a tool provided in the each of the DF and DFX toolkits as standard.
  • Do you ship worldwide?

  • Is it waterproof? What is the IPX level?
    Yes. The IPX level is 5.
  • Does my DFly have lights for night time riding or indicators for turning?
    Yes! Both the DF and DFX come with automotive grade front and rear lighting and rear turn signals as standard. The DFX also comes with additional indicators in the handle bars. These handle bars are an optional extra for DF users.
  • What features can I access via the Digital Display?
    All the vehicle diagnostics will be available, plus all the settings. You can also personalize your ride experience to suit your riding style i.e. braking intensity, acceleration curve, ride modes etc. And your display and lighting settings i.e. screen brightness, vehicle light preferences etc.
  • How stable is it the DFly to ride?
    The 4-wheel configuration is naturally stable, enhanced by all-around independent suspension and 4-deck springs which you can personalize according to your weight and ride style preference. All-wheel braking and traction control further enhance the road wheel grip and give assurance to the rider.
  • Are the batteries removable and/or changeable?
    Yes! The batteries are removable via a simple process. You can charge one at your home or office, and ride another. Having more than one battery enables riders to extend their range. We've also installed a lock key to provide further security for the battery itself.
  • What is the difference between the DF and the DFX?
    The DFX has various additional features to the DF. An engineered plastic front fender (with a carbon option) Plastic mud guards on all 4 wheels Aluminum hand guards Integrated turn signals in the handle bars All-terrain tyres
  • What are the tyre specifications and options?
    Dragonfly tyres are natural rubber pneumatic tyres. DF comes with urban treads and DFX with all terrain treads as standard. Both types of tyres are quickly interchangeable to suit your ride and available to purchase as optional extras. Tyre size is 255x80mm / 10inch x 2.5inch.
  • Can I ride Dragonfly in the rain/snow?
    Yes. But obviously these conditions will be more challenging so take care!
  • How long should my battery take to charge?
    The battery will take 3 hours to charge fully. From 0-70% it should take around 2 hours. Premium battery cells have been chosen to extend range and battery life.

  • How many motors does my D-Fly have?
    The DF and the DFX come with two 550W motors, one in each of the front wheels.
  • How easy is it to store / transport my D-Fly?
    The D-Fly is fully foldable and can easily be transported. Once folded, it can stand vertically, with a footprint of just under 45 square centimeters. We’ve made it easy to store in your home or your office. It’s unique!
  • What’s the maximum hill ratio it can handle?
    Up to 25% is all good!
  • What is the maximum rider weight for D-Fly?
    Dragonfly has been tested to hold up to 500 pounds (226.8kg) weight.
  • What is the maximum speed?
    Both the DF and the DFX are limited to a maximum speed of 40km/h Should you wish to make this lower for any reason, it can be done via the onboard Digital Display. Should the legislation of the delivery destination country require a lower maximum speed, this will be set prior to shipping.
  • What else is included as standard?
    Charger and tool kit.
  • Will the Dragonfly come fully assembled?
    Yes.
  • What are the benefits of the Full-Tilt Steering technology?
    Our patented full-tilt technology enables the rider’s centre of gravity to synchronize with the movement of the vehicle by a combination of leaning, tilting and twisting. It’s like riding a snowboard skateboard or surfboard – lean and you go! At lower speeds, twisting the tiller to 45 degrees enables turning to take place within just a 1 meter radius. At higher speeds, up to 15 degrees of lean steering enables riders to carve through their journey. Using your feet, engage the rear wheel steering to get maximum carving capability. Use all 3 steering dimensions for all-wheel turning precision, ideal for precise and reliable handling and confidence while moving and steering.
  • What is the spec of the battery?
    25 Ah high quality Samsung cells.
  • How do I get information about my Dragonfly on my smart phone?
    Download the Dragonfly app (soon to be released) You will then have access to all key features, settings and ride data on your smart phone This information is also accessible via the DF & DFX Digital Display
  • Does my DF and/or DFX have traction control?
    Yes! Both of the front wheels have automatic traction control as standard.
  • Is it legal to ride where I live?
    We ask our riders to do their own research regarding local laws and regulation.

  • Do I need to pay customs fees?
    Yes.
  • How many ride modes are there?
    Your Dragonfly has four ride modes to choose from: D1 (max speed 15km/h) D2 (max speed 25km/h) D3 (max speed 40 km/h) R (reverse – max speed 5km/h)
  • Can I pair my new Dragonfly to my phone?
    Yes! Simply choose Connect Phone from the dropdown menu on the Dfly’s Digital Display Scan the QR code with your phone All of your phone functions will then be visible on the Digital Display e.g. navigation, alerts etc
  • Can I personalize my D-Fly ride in any other ways?
    Yes! The DF and DFX have 4 x adjustable springs at each corner of the deck which alter the deck tilt-tension for a more fluid or stiffer ride.
  • Tell me about the breaks?
    The front wheels have modulated electronic brakes which are controlled by the right hand brake lever. The rear mechanical brakes are controlled by the left hand brake lever.
  • Am I able to ride the Dragonfly at night?
    Yes. Your D-Fly has daylight running lights with an option of 1000 lumins front automotive grade lighting for night time riding.
  • What is the spec of the charger?
    We provide a 3 amp charger as standard. There is an option to buy a second charger if you want to have one at home and at your place of work.
